Grant of e-Visa on a passport different from the passport mentioned on the Electronic Travel Authorization(ETA)

There are instances when some foreigners travel to India on a passport different from the passport mentioned on the ETA issued to them. Such foreigners may be allowed entry into India on the new passport, provided the foreign national also carries the old passport on which the ETA was issued.
