High Commissioner’s telephone conversation with HE Mr. Francoise-Philippe Champagne, Foreign Minister of Canada

High Commissioner of India, Ajay Bisaria spoke over telephone with HE Mr. Francoise-Philippe Champagne, Foreign Minister of Canada on 3 July 2020.

High Commissioner used the occasion to introduce himself and conveyed the best wishes of India’s leadership to the Minister.

A range of issues of mutual interest came up in the conversation, including ways to strengthen India-Canada bilateral relations and recent global events.

India and Canada agree on the role of growing economic engagement in strengthening ties between our plural, diverse democracies.
