Laval University, Quebec organized a day-long seminar on opportunities in Asian economies (India, China and Japan) on April 3, 2017. The seminar was organized in collaboration with the Quebec chamber of commerce and was inaugurated by the Rector of the University, Dr. Denis Briere. At the seminar, Deputy High Commissioner Shri Arun Kumar Sahu deliberated on the developments in India, direction of Indian economy and the vision of Prime Minister Modi; and the opportunities that India offers to Canadian businesses and investors. DHC also met a group of management graduates who would be travelling to India for three weeks for their business training in India. In an one-to-one interaction with the Rector of the university, he discussed possible institutional linkages between Laval University and potential institutions in India. Established in 1663, Laval University is one of the oldest universities in Canada.
