Round Table on “Emerging Global Security Threats”

     In continuation of the observance of the anti-terrorism day on 21 May 2017, the High Commission of India in collaboration with the Canada-India Centre of Excellence organised a round table discussion on “Emerging Global Security Threats” at Carleton University.

     Dr. Alex Wilner, Assistant Professor of the prestigious Normal Patterson School of International Affairs (NPSIA) made a presentation at the round table. A follow-up discussion centred on the latest trends in emerging security threats globally and how large countries including India are dealing with them. Deputy High Commissioner Shri Arun Sahu put forth the Indian perspective on terrorism including cross border terrorism and state sponsored terrorism.

The round table was attended by academics, researchers and students.
