100^th Birth Anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya 

High Commission of India in Ottawa in collaborator with the Canada India Centre of Excellence in Carleton University organised a round table discussion on the life, thought and contribution of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya on his 100^th birth anniversary.

2. On this occasion the Deputy High Commissioner Shri Arun Kumar Sahu addressed the gathering and talked about the concept of “Integral Humanism” propounded by Pandit Upadhyaya and its contemporary relevance.  In this context, he also briefed the gathering on the vision of Prime Minister Modi for integrate and sustainable development of India.  He also highlighted the success story of JAM ( Jan Dhan Yojana, Aadhar and Make in India.

3. The participants actively participated in the discussion and appreciated the progress that India is making since 2014.
