Radio talk on Ayurveda to mark the 2nd Ayurveda Day on October 17

Ayurveda" is a system of medicine with historical roots in Indian subcontinent. In countries beyond India, Ayurveda therapy and practices have been integrated in general wellness applications.

Dhanvantari is an originator God of Ayurveda. Therefore, the Ayurveda Day is being celebrated on the birth day of Lord Dhanvantari - Dhanvantary Jayanti (Dhanteras) every year starting from year 2016 by Government of India. This year, Dhanteras falls on October 17, 2017 when the second Ayurveda Day is being celebrated. To mark this day High Commission of India, Ottawa has organised a radio talk on "Ayurvedic approach to prevention & treatment of Chronic disorders" by Vaidya Hemant Gupta.

All are requested to tune in to their radios at CKCU 93.1 FM between 7 and 8 pm on Tuesday, 17 October, 2017 for the programme "Aap Ki Farmaish" and benefit from this talk on Ayurveda.
