Celebration of cultures in Algonquin College

Celebration of Cultures was organised by Algonquin College at Algonquin Commons Theater in Ottawa on Tuesday, 10 April 2018. There were booths of around twenty five countries. High Commission of India also participated.

The special attractions at High Commission of India’s counter were Yoga CDs, tourism material, free henna painting and saree wearing demonstration.

The event included a few music & dance performances by the Algonquin students.

Approximately four hundred participants enjoyed the display of various countries, particularly their culinary dishes. It was a very informative and interactive celebration.
