CELEBRATION OF VISHWA HINDI DIWAS AND REPUBLIC DAY 2020 AT

MUKUL HINDI SCHOOL, OTTAWA

Mukul Hindi School, Ottawa established in the year 1971 jointly celebrated Vishwa Hindi Diwas on Saturday, 25th January 2020 at Pinecrest Public School, 1281 McWatters Road, Ottawa. The occasion was combined with 71^st Republic Day celebrations by the School.

Mr. Anshuman Gaur, Acting High Commissioner who was invited as the Chief Guest addressed the gathering and thanked Mr. Vinay Purohit, Chairman, Mukul Management Committee for providing the students with rich Indian cultural experiences and adding to their personal growth in their blossoming years. He assured the School of our continued support. School had organised an essay contest in Hindi on Indian Constitution and Republic Day and awards in four distinct categories were given by the Chief Guest to the students. The event was well attended by about 300 persons consisting of parents of the students and past & present teachers of the School. The Chairman thanked the High Commission of India for its continuous support over the years in the activities of the School.

The students of the School presented spectacular performances of Hindi poems, patriotic songs, dances and skits. Each student of the School was part of at least one performance.
