All requests for Diplomatic/Official visas are required to be submitted directly at the Consular Section of High Commission of India in Ottawa.

Documentary requirements for Diplomatic/Official visas are as follows:

(ii) A print-out of filled online Visa application form (with ink signatures; e-signatures are not accepted)

(iii) Photographs (2)

One separate photograph has to be pasted on the print-out of Visa application form in the designated box on the right side.

(iv) Self-certified copy of Diplomatic/Official Passport (along with all pages of immigration stamps)

NOTE:

(i) We do not require original passport at the time of submission of Visa request. Once visa processing is complete, the applicant would be advised on submission of original passport for stamping of Visa.

(ii) All Diplomatic/Official visas would be granted only on Diplomatic/Official passports and will be valid for Single Entry for a period of three months from the date of issue of the visa.

(iii) Current processing times for all Diplomatic/Official visa requests is at least three weeks after submission of all required documents/forms.
